ART OF WES GREENE
ABOUT ME
Hi there. My name is Wes and I like to draw and paint people. I have always loved the human form and the endless possibilities it presents for artistic expression. My work is heavily influenced by the female form, and I try to create pieces that balance flowing gesture against structural accuracy.
When I am not creating, I spend my time studying master works of figure drawing and painting, as well as contemporary artists whose works speak to me. My primary influences include: Michelangelo, John Singer Sargent, Loomis, Steve Huston, and Pacific Northwest artists Bill Cumming and Dave Danioth.

I believe that art should be accessible to everyone, and I am always seeking new ways to connect with my audience and share my passion with students. I hope that my work will inspire others to explore the beauty and power of the human form.
